01Features

An AI note taker that keeps the source and the takeaway.

Scribix turns a recording into two useful layers: a transcript you can verify and a shorter set of AI notes you can act on. The notes focus on an overview, key points, and action items, while speaker labels and timestamps keep important moments traceable to the recording.

01

Structured AI notes

Generate an overview, key points, and action items from a completed transcript on Starter and Pro plans.

02

Speaker-labeled conversations

Scribix separates speaker turns when recording quality supports it, and you can rename the generated labels afterward.

03

Timestamps you can check

Word-level timestamps help you return to the exact moment behind a note, quote, or follow-up.

04

Four ways to add a recording

Upload video, upload audio, record through your microphone, or import an available caption track from a YouTube URL.

05

Transcript exports

Review and edit the transcript, then copy it or export TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT, or CSV.

06

Clear retention controls

Uploaded audio and video are deleted automatically after 14 days. Transcripts remain until you delete them or close your account.

02How it works

Three steps. From recording to AI notes.

01

Add the conversation.

Upload an audio or video file, record live audio through your microphone, or paste a YouTube URL that has an available caption track.

Audio · Video · YouTube · Mic
02

Create a traceable transcript.

Scribix transcribes uploaded or recorded media, adds speaker labels when the audio supports them, and attaches word-level timestamps. YouTube URLs import the selected caption track instead.

03

Generate and review the notes.

On Starter and Pro plans, create AI notes with an overview, key points, and action items. Check important details against the transcript before sharing or acting on them.

AI note taking,
explained clearly.

Still have a question? Email hello@scribix.io and we will help you choose the right workflow.

  • 01What is an AI note taker?

An AI note taker converts a recorded conversation into written text and a shorter set of organized notes. Scribix keeps the transcript, speaker labels, and timestamps alongside AI-generated overviews, key points, and action items on paid plans.

  • 02Can I use Scribix for in-person meetings?

Yes. Record the meeting through your device microphone or upload an audio or video recording afterward. Recording quality, microphone placement, room noise, and overlapping speech all affect the result.

  • 03Does Scribix join Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams calls?

No. Scribix does not send a meeting bot into calls. Add a recording yourself by uploading a file, recording through your microphone, or importing captions from a supported YouTube URL.

  • 04What does Scribix include in AI notes?

AI notes contain an overview, key points, and action items. The completed transcript also includes timestamps and speaker labels when the recording supports them.

  • 05Is the AI note taker free?

Scribix includes 45 lifetime transcription minutes with Google sign-in and no credit card. AI summaries and structured notes are available on Starter and Pro plans.

  • 06Can I create notes from a YouTube video?

Yes, when the YouTube video has an available caption track. Paste the URL, choose a caption track, import it, and generate AI notes on a paid plan. If no captions are available, upload a media file you own instead.

  • 07How accurate are the transcript and AI notes?

Results depend on audio clarity, microphone distance, background noise, accents, specialized vocabulary, and overlapping speech. Review names, numbers, commitments, quotes, and other important details against the recording before relying on them.

  • 08How long does Scribix keep my recordings?

Uploaded audio and video files are deleted automatically after 14 days. Transcripts remain in your account until you delete them or close your account.

  • 09Can I export my notes?

AI notes are displayed in the transcript workspace. There is no dedicated notes-file export; transcript downloads are available as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT, or CSV.
