01How does the AI video clipper choose moments?
Scribix analyzes the transcript, speaker turns, and word-level timestamps to suggest self-contained moments with a hook and clear theme. V1 does not analyze every frame of the full source video.
02Can I change the clips AI suggests?
Creator users can change the clip’s original-video boundaries, correct caption text, adjust the vertical crop, apply brand styling, and select a cover frame. Free exports AI-generated clips as-is.
03What does Scribix export?
The short-video workflow produces a 1080 × 1920 H.264 MP4 with AAC audio, plus a cover image. You download these files and publish them through your preferred platform.
04How long is my original video stored?
Original videos are stored for 7 days on Free and 30 days on legacy Basic or Creator. Transcripts remain after the original expires, and each finished export is available for 30 days from export.
05Which source videos can I upload?
Scribix accepts common formats including MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, and MKV. Upload limits, video-processing allowance, and retained video storage depend on your plan.
06Can I still use Scribix only for transcription?
Yes. Audio-to-text, YouTube transcript, AI notes, transcript editing, and text or subtitle exports remain available as dedicated tools.
